WHO IS UEDA?
UEDA is a membership association dedicated to the professional development of individuals and groups working in economic and community development in Wisconsin. As a 501(c)(3) organization, UEDA’s work has focused primarily on housing development, economic development and job creation with an emphasis on regional transportation, foreclosure mitigation, sustainable homeownership and regional food initiatives.
UEDA was incorporated in 1997 by a cross-section of practitioners
as a vehicle for developing professional expertise and networks
among neighborhood organizations, businesses and economic
development agencies serving Milwaukee’s urban community.
