The significant amount of downtown development and neighborhood activation presents a real opportunity to change some of the persistent dynamics impacting Milwaukee - we invite you to join us for an important conversation about how we all can play a role in making it happen! This year's Summit will include:

  • Information about the emerging MKE United effort and the process to develop an action agenda that implements a shared and inclusive vision for downtown Milwaukee and its adjacent neighborhoods.

  • Speakers and leaders active in community engagement, organizing and neighborhoods across sectors that will explore the concepts of civic engagement more fully, and apply them to efforts to encourage economic growth and strengthen neighborhoods.

  • Interactive table discussion designed to identify strategies, tools and resources that could be used to consistently and impactfully engage people and organizations as part of the MKE United action agenda.

  • Opportunities to connect and network with a diverse group of stakeholders to discuss what it means to foster a civic culture that lends itself to collaboration, resource activation and engages people across backgrounds and geographies.
